Born in Istanbul, studied fashion design in New York, and now settled in beautiful Stockholm. Each city left its own mark and made her what she is today as a creative.
She spent her childhood and teenage years in bustling, eclectic Istanbul, where her love for art and design emerged. New York’s competitive razzle-dazzle encouraged her to pursue both art and fashion, because if that’s who you are, why not? Stockholm came as an utter surprise, but has became her true home and where she discovered a whole lot of herself as an artist, illustrator and designer.
Having studied classic fine arts in high school, she’s always had a fashion flair in her drawings and a strong presence of women as the main character, who were often imagined as being in touch with their peaceful solitude, glamorous persona, or being surrounded by mysterious, lush nature. Dance & stage performance, fashion, photography, nature & natural history, erotica & esoterica, subtle moments full of intense emotions or sometimes just a milisecond of a seductive blick or flip of a hair, or a dancer en pointe comes as a set of inspiration for her work, preferably in a dramatically-lit setting.
She has exhibited her art since she was fourteen years old in different occasions from Istanbul to New York, from Paris to Stockholm.
Besides art, she is also running her own clothing brand Lisuas where she makes custom-made, one-off fashion pieces.
She doesn’t stop there.
As a forever life-drawing and stage performance aficionada, she runs her own drawing sessions in Stockholm since 2021, lately focusing on dancers -pole and burlesque to be exact- to bring the creative souls of Stockholm together and capture the elegance and movements of these dreamy performers have to offer.
